In games design theory and principle theory lessons, we looked over System developments.
The 3 principles of system/game development are: Plan, Design and Deliver. Essentially it's like the 3 stages of production.
The short and unexplained cycle.
The Rundown of the development cycle:
The first thing you do is analyse and plan your product thoroughly by having an initial plan. Once all the initial planning and analyzing is done you proceed to illustrate and create the design for the system. Once the design is all laid out, you will develop the system itself. From that point, you develop the system and implement the design for user interface. Once the development and implementation is all done and the results are satisfying; you proceed to test out the system you developed and you can find other testers to test the system you developed. When the testing phase is completed, you review the errors and bugs within the system you produced. This way, you can start by doing maintenance on the system so you can test it again and deploy/deliver the system.
After the testing and maintenance is finished and meets the results to deliver the product. You can deploy the product onto the web or produce it as a package by burning them onto CDs.
