I will be doing a (short) anaylist for a sound experiment visualized and illustrated from a Japanese Animation (Anime for short) called: Lu Over the Wall directed by Masaki Yuasa and . Lu Over the Wall heavily relies on sound to illustrate and express the characters movements and feel to the song that matches the atmosphere.
Here's the link for the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rea2ZZLy-k4
Lu tends to rely on rhythm and feel. Whenever the music stops, the characters stop moving but Lu (the green haired mermaid) on the other hand will start to react and becomes somewhat frigidity. Whenever the citizens dance, you'll see their feet move rapidly to produce a rhythm which tries to go a long with the beat. The songs are very rhythmic and upbeat.
To describe the movie, Lu Over The Wall is an anime based around music, rhythm and feel. Lu Over the Wall demonstrates this very well due to its direction, execution and portrayal. It's a great film, highly recommend it.
